Right on the the lottery, but it seems to me that bowling most certainly requires a fair amount of skill

In the Granite State, Sanders holds a commanding 22-point lead over the former secretary of state, garnering 52 percent support to Clinton’s 30 percent. In Iowa, those who claim they will participate in the state’s first-in-the-nation caucus prefer Sanders 43 percent to 33 percent. . . However, Sanders trumps Clinton when it comes to overall voter excitement. Seventy-eight percent of those polled express “enthusiastic support” for the self-described democratic socialist, while Clinton only received half that amount, 39 percent. . ."

". . . A large number of Louisiana Republicans think President Barack Obama is to blame for the federal government's poor response to Hurricane Katrina, according to a new Public Policy Polling survey released Wednesday -- despite the fact that the storm occurred three years before he took office.

The Democratic-leaning polling firm, which provided its results to Talking Points Memo, found that 29 percent of Louisiana Republicans said Obama was responsible for the Katrina response. Twenty-eight percent put the blame on President George W. Bush, whose administration did in fact oversee the federal response to Katrina. Nearly half (44 percent) of the Louisiana Republicans polled didn't know who to blame. . ."

President Barack Obama says the international community must first agree that chemical weapons were used by the Syrian regime. The U.S. will NOT act unilaterally and Obama says there must be an international consensus on whether President Bashar al-Assad's regime used chemical weapons. In other words, the chance of U.S. military involvement is now more remote. We may, however, be providing the formerly refused arms to rebels in the near future.

There exists very little interest among NATO members for military intervention in Syria. The president said, ". . . I've got to make sure I've got the facts."

Problem is that many of the rebels battling Damascus are allied with Islamic extremists. And Obama wants to avoid one more conflict after winding down the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The public doesn't appear to want that either according to some recent news organization polls.

Many polls and publications claim that 90% of Americans support background checks for persons buying guns. Still Congress refuses to listen to their own constituents.  They refuse to listen to the very people who put them into office! It's time to put new people in office to represent us.  Start NOW.

Background checks are done for for a number of things on an everyday basis such as hiring employees, due diligence, litigation, when children are involved and before a relationship gets serious among others. A background check is NOT a violation of a right.  It's just plain SMART.
