Refusal . . .


If you've ever been party to creating a thing
That's yours all alone; to your being it rings.
Sometimes it appears that it's never quite right
But you'd fight to the last just to bring it to light.

At the time that you're adding the finishing touches
You notice the edges contain several smudges.
But your time and commitment negate a recusal.
There's simply no stopping it. Just no refusal.
