Evolution has stopped
With regard to fellow man.
Well, maybe not all, but a lot.
Civility and compromise
Fast approach their extinction,
And the truth, once supreme,
is now fought.
Beliefs and persuasions
So evident today
Are just desperate
shots at post hoc.
Our developing blindness
Gives little towards hope.
We're currently stuck
At a roadblock.
