Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington released a report Thursday that calculated the number of times the president visited his properties at taxpayers' expense (362), the number of foreign government officials (110) and U.S. officials (250) who have visited Trump properties and the number of political events (63) held at his properties. . . Every president before Trump divested from his business interests before being sworn in, CREW noted. “Divestiture also served as an assurance to the public that the president would not open himself up to undue influence from special interests and foreign governments that might use his businesses as a way to curry favor with him and his administration,” the report said. However, Trump has not followed this precedent. . ."

Twelve . . .

So many things I'd like to do;
So many places to see.
And I feel like
There's never enough
Time for anything else
That I might desire to undertake.
Something I'd like to pursue;
But the world's just spinning around;
Keeps me head and foot-bound
Don't know what to do.

Give me just twelve hours
To add to my day.
Keep all your wealth and your money.
Take your fame and power for time.
Just give me twelve hours.

Time isn't cheap.
You pay so dearly.
I'm trying to make every minute count;
Penny count.

Spending my time seems like all I do.
Can't save up for rainy days.
Can't invest in an instrument to
Earn satisfaction to draw from.
When far-in-the future, I need to feel
Just what my value has been.
There's no interest that's coming or due.
Dividends are so precious and few.
Don't know what to do.

Buy a drink and tell a joke

And don't say anything about his Mom,

His girlfriend, or his army boots.

Walked into an auto-mo-showroom.

I need some wheels but got no money to spend.

When a guy with an ugly tie

Walks out and acts like he's my long-lost friend.

I said hey Buddy I've a purpose here,

And if you please I will accomplish my goal.

So don't you slap me on the back again,

Cause if you do I might just lose my control.

So please be careful when you meet someone

Who'll make a promise at the drop of a hat.

And don't provide them with encouragement.

You will regret the day you offered him that.

Cause everybody needs some empathy,

But just how willing

And how far will they go

To really help you when the chips are down?

Can they be trusted half as far as you throw them?

It’s like a dream that just came true.
I just don’t know how much that I can stand.
Many temptations are swimming round my head.
So many places that you’d think I’d like to be instead but . . .

I’m always thinking of you.
I hope you think of me too.
I only want to be where you are.

Riding to the Wellington Club.
I’d have a driver and he’d take me there.
I’d just sit back and put my two feet up.
Money doesn’t measure the man.
All you can do is spend it; spend again.
It only goes so far. You can’t pretend.
Many times over I’ve seen it slip away.
I’d like to live that life sometime
But baby not today. Cause . . .

I get a feeling when I’m with you
That nothing else captures the same way.
You know it’s true.

If you see the pyramids rise
Above the desert sand into the sky,
A greater sight you just won’t realize.
River fights its way to the sea.
Worthy opponents just can’t hinder it.
