Another $1.1 trillion in additional savings over 10 years. ". . . So much in the works for the next OHO album: tomorrow into The Bratt studio to "fiddle about" with Ray's "3rd Hand Intelligence." In the queue are "Where Is How We Go" (lyrically based on the Guitar Craft aphorism: "Where we're going is how we get there"; "Plunge" (originally recorded by The Weaszels), David's "The One"...and new arrangements of "Your Luck Is Awake" (from "UP") and a 3/4 time version of "Lost & Found" from "Audition." These are in addition to the "Ahora!" suite, Ray's "Blood Brother" and other tunes that are in the process of revealing themselves. So many songs...so little time. . . "

Sanders won every county in the state by a landslide, and carried even conservative communities. All those town hall meetings over all those years, all that talk about kitchen-table economics, had forged a connection that could not be severed by big money and negative ads. "Maybe that's the lesson of Bernie," explained Margrete Strand Rangnes. "He doesn't worry so much about winning one election. He's in it for the long haul, because that's how you build the awareness and the trust that allows you to get beyond the spin and talk to people about the real issues in their lives. . . "

The men were convicted by a jury of their peers in 2012 on arson charges stemming from a pair of fires (The Hammonds set ). . . that ultimately burned 139 acres of BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land. . . the federal anti-terrorism law that prosecutors used to punish the fires includes mandatory minimum sentences of 5 years for fires that damage public property but cause no injury or death. After a series of appeals, the Hammonds were re-sentenced in October of 2015 to the full five years required by that 1990s statute . . . Militia members have taken over the tile-roofed stone cottage on the south shore of the lake that serves as headquarters for the refuge . . . While frustrations and friction between federal land management agencies and ranchers are widespread, the vast majority of private citizens from communities affected by these issues do not share the radicalism that animates Bundy’s armed occupiers. . . The idea that federal authority over public lands is illegitimate has caught the attention of a variety of extremist groups that are convinced the government will sooner or later turn arms against its own people. . . "
