". . . So much in the works for the next OHO album: tomorrow into The Bratt studio to "fiddle about" with Ray's "3rd Hand Intelligence." In the queue are "Where Is How We Go" (lyrically based on the Guitar Craft aphorism: "Where we're going is how we get there"; "Plunge" (originally recorded by The Weaszels), David's "The One"...and new arrangements of "Your Luck Is Awake" (from "UP") and a 3/4 time version of "Lost & Found" from "Audition." These are in addition to the "Ahora!" suite, Ray's "Blood Brother" and other tunes that are in the process of revealing themselves. So many songs...so little time. . . "

Practice Makes . . .

. . . pretty good . . .

Being in a band whose members are deeply committed to self-expression through performing original music does NOT always bode well for live performance opportunities. Therefore, the absence of regular and frequent execution of the musical pieces render the accuracy of occasional performances somewhat random. But you know, they DO say that 'practice makes perfect' and that is, after all, that for which we are striving. And though it may not yet be perfect, we at OHO are progressing significantly in dynamics, emotional subtleties and technical execution of Blood Brother as evidenced by this 'timeline' recording of live and rehearsal recordings pieced together for my own personal enjoyment. . .

. . . maybe yours too?!

Follow . . .

. . . the bouncing ball. . .

Maybe I'm dating myself, but remember the old cartoons (and even the Mitch Miller television show) that would display the lyrics to an old (not necessarily old at the time) pop song, and an animated ball would bounce over the lyrics as a recording would play allowing you to vocalize along with the recording?

Well, I'm not savvy enough to make a ball bounce over these lyrics, but they are shown below to accompany the video, allowing you to vocalize along with OHO, should you choose. . .

Blood Brother

But keep a good eye upon that friend because he really doesn't give two hoots. And don't say anything about his Mom, his girlfriend or his army boots. I'll be your Blood Brother, by your side through thick and thin. I'll be your Blood brother, just as long as I don't have to bloody my hands.

Walked into an automoshowroom. I need some wheels but got no money to spend. When a guy with an ugly tie walks out and acts like he's my long lost friend. I said hey buddy I've a purpose here.
