Musical Value. . .

But if he expressed his preference for anything of that sort, he could be certain that Gerda would shrug her shoulders and say with a sympathetic smile, "How is it possible my dear? Something to totally lacking in musical value. . . ". . . "

So who is willing to serve him at this point? Only those with no reputation to lose, generally because they’re pretty bad at what they do. But those people have gone into hiding. . . "

Heard somebody say
They overheard you
Just the other day
A simple word
About the way we get along

Of the semantics

Like, "Where did you two meet?"
and "Any regrets on not continuing your education?"
Like, "Have you considered all the facts?"
and "Do you know that changing your view is not a character flaw?
Like, "Did you consider the details of her personal life?"

What do I know about happiness
Do I possess some kind of key
To things that no one else can see

Just as far back as my memory goes
Sometimes it seemed I was alone
