Brand New . . .
. . . mix
(from Jay Graboski. . .)
4 hours at The Bratt Studio yesterday (07/02/14) the last 2 of which were spent mixing our updated version of "Out of Thin Air." I'm tickled. Waiting for the other two OHO's to weigh in. Maybe Ray will post it here as I do not know how. Thanks to Bill Pratt & P. Daly German for their insights and the latter's tambourine smacks. Guest singer Lisa Griffee keyed, "Thanks for sharing. What an enjoyable trip down memory lane. Hope all is well with everyone. 'Tell me!' - was that quiet background shout out by Jay always there? Love it." What's next after that?
(from David Reeve . . . )
GREAT JOB ! as always Bill and Jay. Wouldn't change a thing.
(from me . . . )
YES!! Onward and upward. (Nice work gentlemen.)
Out Of Thin Air
(brand new mix by OHO [Jay Graboski, David Reeve, Ray Jozwiak] and guest vocalists Lisa Griffee and Kirsten Smith done at Bratt Studios with percussion done at Blue Ball Studios)

Roads . . .
. . . diverge . . .
People talk about all kinds of things
Like the weather
Like their politics
Like the things that they watch on TV
But still the roads diverge
Funny though all this chatter don't mean a thing
When compared with the wondering
When they speak of just how
The roads diverge
Roads Diverge

Tribis . . .
. . . Hippocriticus . . .
Mother always told us it's not nice to hate
She'd been practicing that golden rule for years
If we'd only treat each other how we want to be ourselves
God will love us
God will love us
When I first met you I was quite impressed
So much more than pretty face among the crowd
And it didn't happen overnight but the curtain slowly fell
And the colors of your rainbow were revealed
You are the tribis hippocriticus
You are the tribis hippocriticus
You are the tribis hippocriticus
We don't like you
Just trying to be honest
From your position of authority
You looked down and not across our great divide
With a smile upon your face and hands placed firmly on controls
You're so artistic
You're so artistic
Expertise portrayed for all appearances
Pure professional facade to face the crowd
But just beneath that thick veneer reside reality
The truth is evident and there for
You are the tribis hippocriticus
You are the tribis hippocriticus
You are the tribis hippocriticus
We don't like you
Just trying to be honest
'Cause that's the way we all should be
We're not islands
We're not stones
And just what will it take
To make you see this truth
Let me make it crystal clear how strongly that I feel
'Bout the way you take advantage for yourself
If you took the power devoted to your cold conniving ways
And you turned it
And you turned it
Totally around direct it to another place
Try to do what you have done unto yourself
Just a little understanding there are others here with you
This revolving's not designed for only you
Tribis Hippocriticus

Wednesday . . .
(from http://blog.dictionary.com/wednesday/)
". . . The name Wednesday derives from two mighty but distinct gods. The Old English word for Wednesday indicates that the day was named for the Germanic god Woden. In Romance languages, the name is derived from the Roman god Mercury. (For example, Wednesday is mercredi in French and miercuri in Romanian.) Woden (also known as Odin) and Mercury have been associated since Scandinavian and Roman cultures crossed paths. Under Woden’s supervision, the earth and sky were created from the dead body of a giant named Ymir. Woden also created the first man and woman from an ash tree and an alder. As if fashioning the human race wasn’t enough, Woden also established the laws of the universe. . ."
But musically speaking, for now I'll just call it . . .
