Mutiny . . .

. . . but no Bounty. . . not really a mutiny either . . .

Possibly a ship or two though. . .

Chretcher Flistian said, "If our leader is no leader, then let's join forces and tell him so.  But let us not tell him only that.  Let us help him.  We will explain to him that we want him to succeed as a leader.  We want this outfit to be successful.  We want to make money and we want him to get the credit for all this.  But alas, it will not happen if he is left to his own devices.  Surely if we all address this situation together as one, united front (and one, united front with our leader's best interest and well-being in mind) he most certainly cannot refuse.  In fact, we will tell him that he cannot refuse.  The choice is either operate this venture as it should be operated, or it will most surely and certainly, in time, fail.

This will not be an easy task for him nor for we.  For in order for us to accomplish this titanic undertaking, we must purge every self-serving, deceitful, dishonest, disingenuous, agenda-driven thought from our minds and truly work together as one, honest, transparent, dedicated team.  In this way, and ONLY this way, can we pull of this bold and daring plan.

Or, we can run away to Tahiti. . . "    . . . and the men thought it was good.

I Can. . .

. . . always Hope

. . . You can't take
That away from me
In deepest solitude
It's one thing
There's no fear I'll lose
I see and I hear
All around me
What seems to
Be some frightening news

No it's confronted me
Just hit me
Right between the eyes
So I must choose
From these reactions
Here at hand
Will I blame somebody
Who isn't there
Or rationalize that it's
Just part of some plan

I want to be up
When light first
Breaks over the trees
I'd like to be
One of the lucky ones
To know what it means
The what and the how
Of our journey here
Which way that we look and which
Way we should be seen

I know a man. . .

. . . whose name is Bill

With a very big plan
That required much skill

He planned well ahead
Made sure word got around
To all who're involved
But did all without sound
To the one that he loved
Cause he had to ensure
He would not
OUT be found

So for more than one year
Complex planning continued
All the details required
Every muscle and sinew

The loved ones invited
Vaccinations and sitting
Some expected some not
To another outwitting

But this man we call Bill
Had extraordinary ability
And he pulled the thing off
With uncanny agility

And a lesson is here
That we'd all well to learn
From investment required
And expected return

When you love someone dearly
The most difficult of feat
Can be easily accomplished
If you can just be discrete.
