After regrouping, wood-shedding and playing lots of music with OHO [another Baltimore staple], a new (and very different) Ray Jozwiak - Gonzo Piano album 'Grains' is scheduled for release in June 2022. 'Grains' is an amalgamation of jazz influences and chops, Brill Building writing, lyrics (diametrically opposed to 'Frills') and colors from a life well-lived and loved. On the album you'll find 'Broken', a former tyrant expressing his regrets, 'Thinking', a pure love-song, reflections on recent events 'Otherwise' and 'Elephants' and the frustration with the everyday grind is expressed in 'Baggage'. . .
