. . . end of the night

Silver flecks sprinkled through
The azure sky.
Something was in the air
I couldn't describe.
Little compares even remotely.
What will we feel later?

On the other end of the . . .
All is done and said before light.
It may seem to change when we're
On the other end of the night.

And though it's always dark
At the close of each day.
These are the very hours
Encumbrances weigh upon the calm
Spoiling the stillness.
Seems like a world's crashing.

It's all perspective.
How do you see
What has direct bearing on you?
Oh what a difference;
An hour, a day, a night makes;
Makes all things new;
Clears all air if you just realize.

Don't let a dark despair
Color what lies ahead.
A new tomorrow waits
Up around the next bend.
Just be prepared.
A new beginning's,
With the new dawn, waiting.
