Aromatics of cocoa nib, concentrated plums, bark, boysenberries and dried cranberry.  Notes of wet earth, vanilla and menthol follow.  Flavors of black cherries, nutmeg, dried leaves and seedy wild strawberries, with minor notes of smoked ham and tobacco present themselves on the palate.  The mouthfeel is chalky with a sinewy grip midpalate that is emphasized by lip smacking acidity which carries through the finish. . ."
