Words are just words; so
Such compromise
Faithless was she; know
Deceitfulness; treachery
Breeching a trust; perfidious

No way to know
Well in advance; no
Now it’s all clear
Reaped what she sowed
She had to go

Dishonor waits on perfidy; oh
Rising above your misery; show
False man forgets worldly scorn
Always aware; perfidious
Cowards and fools
Hiding beneath lies
Accusat’ry; in you just like me
Will not die

Duplicity; two-facedness
Untrustworthiness confuses me
Such perfidy

Disloyalty
Baseless intrigue; why
Can it go on indefinitely;
This perfidy?

It took so long to find him
In that God-forsaken wilderness
The mountains reaching upward to the sky
And friends who claimed they'd help us only
Stumbled on their own duplicity
