". . . 1. Trump said it's "wrong" that he supported the invasion of Iraq. It's not.

2. Trump said he told Howard Stern "very lightly, I don't know, maybe, who knows?" about the war in Iraq. Trump actually said "I guess so, yeah."

3. Trump said Clinton and her campaign started the "birther" movement. They didn't.

4. Trump said it was "wrong" to say that stop-and-frisk racially profiled individuals. It did.

5. Trump said ending stop-and-frisk made the city more dangerous. It didn't.

6. Trump said murder is up in New York City. It's not.

7. Trump said he "did not say" global warming is a hoax. He did.

8. Clinton denied that she said TPP was the "gold standard" of trade deals. She did.

9. Clinton said "the only two" tax returns Trump's released showed he didn't paid taxes those years. They did show that, but the same records show he did pay federal income taxes in three other years.

10. Trump said "you will learn more" from financial disclosure than from tax returns. You won't.

11. Clinton said Trump rooted for the housing crisis. He did repeatedly say it could benefit him as an investor.

12. Trump said "nobody knows" the DNC hack was perpetrated by Russians. U.S. intelligence say they have a "high confidence" it was.

13. Trump said ISIS controls "a lot of" oil in Libya. They don't.

14. Trump said the U.S. should have taken Libya's oil. That violates the Geneva Convention.

15. Trump said he got the first-ever endorsement of ICE earlier in the day and that it was 16,500 Border Patrol agents. He did not receive the endorsement of the federal agency, but rather the endorsement of a union that represents 6,700 ICE employees earlier in the day. He received the endorsement of another group of 16,500 border patrol agents in March.

16. Trump said he started his company with a "very small loan in 1975," while Clinton said he got $14 million from his father. She's right: Trump got millions more than he acknowledges.

17. Trump said Clinton has been fighting ISIS for her entire adult life. It's only been around for a fifth of her adult life.

18. Trump said Clinton is spending "hundreds of millions" on ads against him. She's spent $96.4 million.

19. Trump said he "didn't say" women don't deserve equal pay unless they do as good a job as men. In October, Trump told a young woman who asked if she'd make equal pay under a Trump presidency, "you're gonna make the same if you do as good a job."

20. Trump said he "never said" pregnancy is an inconvenience to employers. He did. . . "

The figure of Mrs. Clinton was anticipated by Henry Adams in his tremendous novel Democracy, published as an anonymous satire on Washington corruption in 1880. Here we encounter Mrs. Lightfoot Lee, female manipulator extraordinaire:

Indeed, in what had begun as a rather stilted and fixed campaign, the only outlet for insurgent feeling was that offered in a Republican primary by the eccentric Senator from Arizona, John McCain achieved at least an initial burst of speed by his proclaimed dislike of the system, by his professed distaste for campaign-finance racketeering and by his (apparently) unscripted and unspun style. It was puerile anti-politics but it worked for a space, and drew for its effect on many voters who had registered as Democrats or independents. Nowhere within the echoing emptiness of the Democratic fold was there any hint of a live dialogue. And McCain, of course, had voted to impeach and to convict Clinton, and had gravely upset Governor Bush of Texas, in the course of the South Carolina Primary, by comparing him to incumbent President. ("You don't," said Bush in a tone of outrage, "you just don't say that of a man."). . . "

Whenever there's a scandal involving a Clinton, you can be sure that the Clintons knew nothing about it. They are forever "out of the loop" when it comes to the sleazy, underhanded activities of their lackeys. This has been true in virtually every nefarious Clinton-based plot for the last twenty-five years, and there's no reason to think anything's changed. . . As always, when it comes to the DNC tipping the scales in her favor during the primaries, Hillary Clinton had no idea. . . This weekend, during a 60 Minutes interview, she was asked about the DNC's efforts to destroy Bernie Sanders on her behalf. The exchange was edited out of the broadcast version of the Q&A, but it's available via the CBS website. . ."

The concession does, however, show an understanding of "triangulation" and it does possess some explanatory power. By the spring of 2000, it was clear that the liberal pulse of the party was to all intents and purposes undetectable. Even former Senator Bill Bradley, returning to the hustlings after marinating for a while in the casks of Wall Street, looked discountenanced by the utter failure of the patient to respond. And he was only seeking to awaken the liberal reformist instinct in its mildest and most manageable form. He didn't even brush the G-spot. . ."

This data dump is “Part One” of a series from WikiLeaks they are calling the “Hillary Leaks,” and Guccifer 2.0 has taken credit for the hack behind this first set of emails from the DNC. . . The emails show an unprecedented level of collusion between top party officials and political reporters at establishment newspapers, as well as DNC staffers obviously favoring Hillary Clinton while devising ways to attack Bernie Sanders. . . In one email with the subject line “Bernie narrative,” Paustenbach ponders a way to attack the Sanders campaign as “never having their act together” with Miranda, suggesting they plant a narrative in the media that the Vermont senator’s presidential campaign “was a mess.” . . . Despite Wasserman Schultz repeatedly denied allegations that she was favoring Hillary Clinton in the primary, but WikiLeaks’ emails expose her treating the Sanders campaign as an adversary. . ."

". . .Shaun King made an interesting point that could change the way we view the entire Democratic primary race. What King revealed in his groundbreaking article is that the 3 million vote advantage Clinton holds is a lie. . . According to King, primary races don’t just include voters going out and casting a ballot. Instead, many states hold caucuses in which a group of representatives vouch for their candidate. The candidate with the most representatives in the room wins in that district, and the candidate who wins the most districts is the winner of the state. . . What happens in these cases is that individual votes are not gathered, therefore no votes go to the winning candidate. . . Bernie Sanders has tended to win most caucusing states. Though Sanders may take more than 70 percent of the caucus vote, these numbers don’t translate to individual votes — they add nothing to the overall count. So, states with millions of Sanders supporters are not counted among the millions in competition with Clinton’s big numbers as a result of this system. . ."
