Clearly . . .

. . . this president is clueless . . .

". . . Nothing more could have been done. Nothing more could have been done.”. . . That’s what President Donald Trump told journalist Bob Woodward in August of the U.S. government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, Woodward revealed on CBS’s “60 Minutes” on Sunday night. . . By that time, more than 167,000 Americans had died from COVID-19. . . "

They . . .

. . . you . . . me . . . us???

". . . They may not remember that former President Obama limited Ebola's outbreak in the U.S. to 11 cases and two deaths by coordinating world leaders in arresting the virus at its source in West Africa and that Obama spearheaded testing for the H1N1 virus and provided 39 million masks, respirators and gloves to the states. And they may not be aware the Defense Production Act gives the president the responsibility to lead the fight against pandemics. . ."

Revisiting . . .

 . . . Dramatics

There's tension around us,
In all that we do.
Coping with others
Means they're coping with you.
We're none of us perfect.
We're none of us free.
So cut the dramatics
And let everyone be.

Impressive . . .

. . . things

The title of this song is not a result of any self-delusion or unrealistically egotistical perceptions.

It's simply an effort to pay homage to the great recorded performances of John Coltrane, particularly of the composition 'Impressions.'

More . . .

. . . cluelessness . . .

(from: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/trump-said-he-feels-no-responsibility-understand-anger-black-americans-n1239676 Sept. 9, 2020, 3:56 PM EDT By Janelle Griffith)
". . . During a conversation on June 19, (journalist Bob)Woodward, whose father was a lawyer and judge in Illinois, pointed out that he and Trump were white and privileged, and asked if that affected his thinking. "Do you have any sense that that privilege has isolated and put you in a cave to a certain extent, as it put me and I think lots of white privileged people in a cave and that we have to work our way out of it to understand the anger and the pain, particularly, Black people feel in this country?". . . Trump responded. "You really drank the Kool-Aid, didn't you? Just listen to you. Wow. No, I don't feel that at all." Woodward described Trump's voice as mocking and incredulous, according to the Post. . . "

Questions . . .

https://theconversation.com/kids-may-need-more-help-finding-
answers-to-their-questions-in-the-information-age-126911

Questions, wonder, wanting to know.
If only the future I could clearly see.
This may occur but then that seems unlikely.
It couldn't in a hundred . . . or just could it be?
