Needs . . .

It's sweltering
As some may say
The heat
With the humidity
Leaves beads of liquid
On my skin
When barely
Making an effort

I'm not complaining
Rest assured
I find little fault
with oppressive conditions
Particularly when
Compared with other seasons
That require stratum
Of clothing for warmth

But during these Dog Days
While running amock
In my newfound freedom
I do, in my
Indeterminate wisdom
Discern the need
To keep the body
In hydration

As a result
I eat and I drink
In amounts
More than needed to suffice
My attempts to be comfortable,
Healthy, the like
Would be better assisted
If I could only get ice

His girlfriend or his army boots

Walked into an auto-mo-showroom
I need some wheels but got no money to spend
