A Tower . . .

. . . of (principled, logical, ethical and intellectual) jello. . .

". . . Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal attorney, said in an interview with The New Yorker that he is "afraid" his gravestone will say he "lied for Trump.". . . Giuliani was asked by the magazine on Sunday if he ever worried that "saying things for Trump, not always being truthful about it" would be his legacy. . ."Absolutely," he responded. "I am afraid it will be on my gravestone. 'Rudy Giuliani: He lied for Trump. Somehow, I don't think that will be it. But, if it is, so what do I care? I’ll be dead.". . ."

Good & Bad. . .

. . . things in Chicago

Throughout their city’s history, Chicagoans have demonstrated their ingenuity in matters large and small:
    •    The nation’s first skyscraper, the 10-story, steel-framed Home Insurance Building, was built in 1884 at LaSalle and Adams streets and demolished in 1931.
    •    When residents were threatened by waterborne illnesses from sewage flowing into Lake Michigan, they reversed the Chicago River in 1900 to make it flow toward the Mississippi.
    •    Start of the "Historic Route 66" which begins at Grant Park on Adams Street in the front of the Art Institute of Chicago.
    •    Chicago was the birthplace of:
    ◦    the refrigerated rail car (Swift)
    ◦    mail-order retailing (Sears and Montgomery Ward)
    ◦    the car radio (Motorola)
    ◦    the TV remote control (Zenith)
    •    The first self-sustaining nuclear chain reaction, ushering in the Atomic Age, took place at the University of Chicago in 1942. The spot is marked by a Henry Moore sculpture on Ellis Avenue between 56th and 57th streets.
    •    The 1,450-foot Sears Tower, completed in 1974, is the tallest building in North America and the third tallest in the world.

Unsavory. . .

. . . characters. . .

Be on your guard
Watch over your shoulder
Mind every step that you're planning to take
But remember
You called them
Unsavory characters

Yes you're entitled
Speak as you wish
Just give some thought if your statement is true
And remember
You called them
Unsavory characters

Might you consider
Someone else different
Just to appreciate not criticize
There's no need for
your saying
Unsavory characters

What have they done
What have they taken from you
What have you won
Tarnishing innocent reputations
Does it make you feel good
Right
High
Holier

Sit in your perch
High up in your tower
All by yourself is there comfort in that
But remember
You called them
Unsavory characters

You can see much
And you can see many
Living their lives in a harmony foreign someone
Who called them
Unsavory characters
