Intelligence . . .

". . . President Trump boasted about highly classified intelligence in a meeting with the Russian foreign minister and ambassador last week, providing details that could expose the source of the information and the manner in which it was collected, a current and a former American government official said Monday. . . Mr. Trump’s disclosure does not appear to have been illegal — the president has the power to declassify almost anything. But sharing the information without the express permission of the ally who provided it was a major breach of espionage etiquette, and could jeopardize a crucial intelligence-sharing relationship. . ."

"I was in the room," McMaster concluded. "It didn't happen."

Which is true?

The latter, incidentally, from the Administration of a "President" (and I use the term loosely) who gave us:
1. On 9/11, he personally saw thousands of Muslims in Jersey City cheering.
2. There are actually 93 million people not working and the real unemployment rate is about 40 percent.
3. The Obama administration is sending Syrian refugees to red states.
4. Climate change is a hoax invented by the Chinese.
5. He opposed the Iraq War and has dozens of news clippings to prove it.
6. Among white homicide victims, 81 percent are killed by blacks.
7. America has the highest tax rate in the world.
8. CNN lied when it reported that a speech he gave in South Carolina was one-third empty.
9. His criticism of Ford prompted the company to move a factory from Mexico to Ohio.
10. Vaccines cause autism.
11. The Obama administration wants to admit 250,000 Syrian refugees.
12. ISIS built a luxury hotel in the Middle East.
13. He was on 60 Minutes with Vladimir Putin and "got to know him very well."
14. He was never interested in opening a casino in Florida.
15. November 17: The United States only started bombing ISIS oil fields "two days ago."
16. His campaign is 100 percent self-funded.
17. Mexico doesn't have birthright citizenship.
18. The Iran deal forces us to "fight with Iran against Israel" if Israel attacks Iran.
19. We still "really don't know" if Barack Obama was born in the United States.
20. More than 300,000 veterans have died waiting for VA care.
21. The Bush White House begged him to tone down his "vocal" opposition to the Iraq War.

Turkeys . . .

American generosity during the holiday season is frequently exhibited by the gift of a turkey, through holiday programs for the poor. Such programs are always under the control of the “haves”,  some of which have actually complained that the programs are abused by a number of the 'ungrateful' poor. In truth though, turkey and toys programs are an embarrassment to the poor. They simply do not build self-esteem for people who are poor.  The gap between rich and poor in the U.S. today is huge and still growing. Our nation has an arrogant rich that lives apart from the poor, many of which have reached that level through manipulation and the misuse of human capital.  The poor beg for a livable wage, a decent house to live in, good education and basic health care while the rich pit the poor against one another and continue to pay poverty wages.  When the minimum wage becomes a living wage, and education, housing and healthcare become affordably available for all,  turkey and toy programs will become, and rightly so, a thing of the past.   'God bless us, each and every one.'

Another. . .

 . . . one. . .

Pack is the guy who writes all these books about the wonders of the universe, then "scientifically verifies" each one by say something like, 'how else could this be if there is no God?'

(from http://www.exitsupportnetwork.com/artcls/pack.htm)
". . . David Pack of has now unveiled to his members that he is a God-appointed, official "Apostle" of the 21st century. First, let's examine some background information on Pack. David C. Pack, born in December, 1948, was originally a minister of Worldwide Church of God. After leaving WCG in 1993, Pack went to Global Church of God (Roderick C. Meredith's first group). In May 1999 he founded Restored Church of God, located in Wadsworth, Ohio. At this writing, Pack pays himself approximately $125,000.00 per year, tax free, and lives a luxurious lifestyle. (UPDATE: Read letter about his home and neighborhood in 2012) He publishes and offers free The Real Truth, a magazine that looks like a clone of The Plain Truth and Ambassador Youth, a magazine geared to the youth. He offers The Bible Introduction Course, 30 lessons patterned after Herbert Armstrong's free Ambassador Bible Correspondence Course. His audio program on TV is The World to Come. In 1985 WCG members distributed a 13-page open letter alleging that David Pack "constantly intimidated members, used threats and mind-control methods, was given to extreme emotional outbursts, believed in winning at all cost, disfellowshipped members for trivial faults, enjoyed putting down women" and other such horrific abuses. This letter quoted Pack as saying, "Everyone who has challenged me has either died, been seriously injured, or has been eliminated from the Work." And "God backs me even if I am wrong." . . . "

Absurdist. . .

. . . judge. . .
(based upon http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/12/18/15996725-fierce-debate-after-newtown-school-shootings-where-was-god?lite)
Have you heard what former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who is ordained as a minister in the Southern Baptist Church (and a possible presidential candidate in 2016), said about the horrible elementary school shootings in Connecticut?  He said that "we've systematically removed God from our schools."  And, "Should we be so surprised that schools would become a place of carnage?" he asked.

Religious scholar Martin E. Marty of Chicago said, in reaction, that Huckabee "wins, hands down, the prize for his absurdist judgment that 'Newtown' should have been no surprise."  Steve McSwain, a former Baptist minister and interfaith activist, said, "With such remarks, you (Huckabee) not only show little regard for those broken by this tragedy, but you make God into some kind a cosmic psychopath — vengeful, sickeningly repulsive, one who takes out his madness on innocent little children. . .Your reasoning is repulsive: Because we have removed your god from our schools, this is how your god gets even?"

He reportedly said also, "God wasn't armed. He didn't go to the school," Huckabee continued. "But God will be there in the form of a lot of people with hugs and therapy and a whole lot of ways in which he will be involved in the aftermath."  Sounds like backpedaling to me.

James Dobson, the another evangelical loose cannon, said on his radio show, "Family Talk," that because "we have turned our back on the Scripture and on God Almighty, I think he has allowed judgment to fall upon us. I think that's what's going on."  He then, not surprisingly, (listen-up Santorum) blamed two issues in particular: abortion and gay marriage.

Possibly the prize-winner in the group, Joseph Farah, editor of the conservative news site WND says the U.S. should expect "more Sandy Hooks, not fewer," because of America's "secularism" and restrictions on guns. . . It's not that there are too many guns in our hands. It's that there is not enough repentance in our hearts."
